One of our favorite activities on our trip to Alaska! Sea kayaking is an unmatched way to enjoy the beauty of Resurrection Bay. Trent was our guide and did a great job leading our group and sharing lots of information along our tour. We took the morning half-day tour, and the water was very calm, making the trip very manageable for those without any sea kayaking experience. We saw lots of salmon and a few otters during our tour, which was amazing. KAW did a great job communicating what to bring on the tour, and helped provide additional items, such as rain pants, as needed.

We went on the half day Resurrection Bay tour with Murphy, very friendly and easy to talk to guide. We saw otters, bald eagles, jumping salmon and even saw a bald eagle swoop down and grab a salmon right in front of us! Definitely worth it, we are so glad we got to experience it!

Unlike many raving reviews here I didn't care for the full day trip to Aialik Glacier. Even though I think KAW does an excellent job logistically and guides are awesome trying to make the experience special I just don't think it's worth the time or the money for 30-45 min of "Glacier time". The boat ride while scenic is waaay too long (over 3hr there and over 2 hours back) plus kayaking is over an hour each way and you don't get as close to it as you think. Seeing the calving of Aialik was outstanding don't get me wrong and is really cool to see but I've had better trips for less $$ in Alaska.

Cannot recommend this company enough- our guided kayak trip to the Aialik Glacier Glacier was truly amazing. Not only did we love the kayaking and being able to see the glacier up close, but even the boat ride there was incredible with all the views and animals we were able to spot. Whales, seals, bald eagles, goats, otters, and other animals were all spotted and the captain graciously kept and eye out and stopped for us to see/take pictures. On top of that our guide, Richard, was fun, friendly, and extremely knowledgeable on all aspects of the trip, including all the ecosystems in the area. There wasn’t a question he didn’t know the answer to. Other guides seemed great as well on the boat ride, everyone was super friendly and helpful, but I got to give it to my guy Richard. Truly an incredible experience, hands down recommended, 11/10. Also, they give back 1% to the planet and let you choose which non-profit they’ll donate to at the end of your trip! Loved how environmentally conscious they were- it was the initial reason we picked them.

Had a wonderful kayaking on a full day trip. The guide was very nice and engaged with the group throughout the day. Had a good lunch on a beach and couple of hikes. There were no people around the entire island during the hike. Our group was the only one there. On the way back, we stopped at a point to see some salmons. There were plenty of them! The small sized group, the hike and clear waters with kelps and some eagles around made the overall trip an excellent kayak adventure.
