La Bela's Family Restaurant

My husband & I ate at La Bela's last night for the first time. We both had the Cuban sandwich and enjoyed it immensely! The Cuban was hot and pressed just like it was supposed to be served. It came with sliced pickles, also good, and a small taste of cole slaw. We both loved the slaw, it was creamy and sweet and we won't hesitate to order it as a side when we go back. But the best part of the restaurant is Bela herself. She's a delight! *I only give it a 4 star because it was a first visit and we ordered the same thing.

My Family and I ate there and it was very good. The clam chowder was great and so was the roast beef especially at only about 21 dollars for all of us. I'd certainly recommend eating there.

We've been coming here since it was the Seminole Family Restaurant. The new owners are trying very hard to get the restaurant going. They need a bit of a push to get some more customers. Maybe have live music in the afternoons/evenings? Target specific audiences? They have a huge menu here and what we have ordered has been good - but they could cut it down to few choices and maybe more healthy options. It's not too far from the Pinellas Trail and is a great place to stop for cyclists (maybe they can offer a special to customers who are keeping fit?). My mom likes to come here because she can have a cocktail with an affordable meal.
