Ginny the owner THREATENED my eight year old daughter in the bathroom. Saturday night at Nello's in Scottsdale, we celebrated 3 family birthdays with great food and great company but ended on a terrible note when the owner Ginny threatened my 8 year old daughter in the bathroom. I was in the bathroom stall with my 5 year old who was having a stomachache while my 8 year old daughter was waiting outside the stall. I heard this lady in a loud and very stern voice start reprimanding my daughter. Saying not to touch the artwork on the wall. Then she proceeded to say "Don't make me take you into another room and have a conversation with you. (She was speaking like this to a child that appeared to be alone) Not wanting to have a major confrontation in the bathroom, I opened the stall door and told Ginny not to talk to her like that and brought AnnaMarie into the stall. When we were all finished in the bathroom, I walked to the front and asked Ginny where she was planning to take my daughter for this "conversation". Ginny proceeded to tell me that she was going to take her out on the patio for this "conversation". I told her to never talk to an eight year old like that and never to threaten to take a child somewhere. After a few words back and forth, Ginny turned to the crowd who was waiting to be seated and yelled that my daughter was hanging from the picture on the wall. (My daughter is 80lbs, I am pretty sure the picture would have come off the wall.) My husband who was feeling that his daughter was threatened, called the cops. The police came and said there was nothing they could really do for us but the officer did admit that he could smell a strong scent of alcohol coming from her. I have heard that Ginny has yelled at customers before and heard that she drinks a lot. Someone needs to get her help before she physically hurts a child.
