Equity Title lacks integrity and ethics! So much for living your mission statement â€œto provide the highest level of service and professional integrityâ€. The company lost our cashiers check for the full purchase price of our home, costing us an additional $20K+ in fees to close on our property. They failed to offer any assistance once it was known they had thrown our check in the trash. Their agent even admits in an email that it â€œdidnâ€™t occur to her to look for the checkâ€, even though we had informed her it was in the FedEx envelope with the closing paperwork. We had to engage an attorney, which cost us thousands more, and they still will not accept responsibility for their actions. DO NOT LET YOUR AGENT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY FOR CLOSING!!!
