Over the moon! I had just gotten back my 91 940 turbo from another shopwho did not fix the problem correctly, so I brought the car over to Randy. Within a day, the problem was diagnosed and the parts were ordered. With holiday delays it took a little bit, but man did Randy and Lester deliver. The car, being 31 years old, runs as if it were only 5 years old. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a Swedish Specialist who delivers better than dealer quality at a fair price.

I brought my car to SCS for brake repair. There are two Volvo dealerships within 10 miles of my home. But I'd rather drive out to Schaumburg. Randy is both personable & knowledgeable. They have a dropbox for convenience. I highly recommend SCS.

DO NOT BRING YOUR CAR HERE FOR REPAIRS! I brought my C70 here last November because it was going Into limp mode. Randy had it for several weeks before I finally got it back. I put the car into storage and took it out in April. The car was still going into limp mode so I brought it back. Randy serviced the transmission and I went and picked it up. On the way home it went into limp mode again. I brought it back and this time Randy troubleshot it and said it was the Transmission Control Module. He kept it several weeks. He took so long that it missed the truck to ship it out to Arizona. I asked Randy to drive it around enough to make sure it is fixed properly; he assured me it had been driven enough and was fixed properly. The car shipped out to California. The 2nd time I drove it, it went into limp mode. I finally took it to Volvo Put Stop in Glendale where it was properly diagnosed and the transmission solenoids were found to be defective and replaced. The car has not gone into limp mode since. Randy is inept as a mechanic and cannot properly diagnose a car. I am into Swedish Car Specialists for almost $1500 and they did not fix my car. I disputed the last bill of $900 through my credit card company and they are reviewing it. Learn from my mistake.
