My daughter has autism, for three years she has received speech and language services, she has also been in the Lets Adapt group and in Tomatis (listening center) with these programs my daughter has made a lot of progress but the most important thing is that she is happy every time he has to go. I am very grateful to all the staff from reception, therapists and lindsay Larro who are concerned about the progress of my daughter. Thank you for the precautions you follow at this time I feel safe that my daughter attends your sessions because I see how the Swain Center is following the rules to keep everyone safe. thank you from the bottom of my heart.

This facility is so unprofessional just when it seems that my little one will get the help he needs they continue to fail . I remember back in June I spoke to Marie she confirmed my son will start his group speech therapy I was so excited for my little one to get the help he needs and ONE DAY yes you heard ONE DAY before the scheduled appointment Marie reaches out to me that the therapist that was supposed to give the classes I guess quit . I was sad then for my little one and decided to wait in hopes they will find someone else soon . Well it did happen my little one was suppose to start his speech therapy class today Friday July 29 I was so excited for him and I and guess what once again Marie called me at 8:20 am to say sorry but the teacher was sick there will be no class today .. how dare them I'm so mad and disappointed my child deserves better than this and I pray to GOD a better therapist reaches out so he can get the help he needs. I hope they get better staff and Im sorry to all the parents who are feeling the same feelings as me for our little ones

Our grandson reached his third birthday last December only being able to say a few words with apraxia suspected. He started at the Swain Center two months ago with one private session a week with Michelle and is now going twice a week to work with her as well as attending Tiny Talkers sessions. The results have been amazing, every week he has new words and he is able to put two or three words together to form a thought or expression. The newest word is why? which he uses with great abandon and complete sincerity! We and his parents are delighted to see this progress. The entire team at Swain Center has been wonderful- not only are they encouraging but we have all learned a lot about how to help and coach our little grandson. Michelle is patient and kind and makes the sessions fun. I was a bit concerned initially that such an intensive program would push him into stubborn resistance but he is happy to go to speech several times a week and is thriving. We could not recommend the Swain Center more highly and are very grateful for their program.

Tiny Talkers, the Swain Center, and all their therapists have been such a blessing for our two children. Our eldest was diagnosed with Apraxia of Speech at two and a half, after speech delays and severe lack of care from our primary care doctor. When she started Tiny Talkers at two and a half years old, she had no words that were consistent and intelligible by strangers. Tiny Talkers, and others at the Swain Center worked closely with her, and got results within a few months. They gave her an individualized learning plan that was tailored to her strengths and needs, and equally importantly, gave us as parents the tools and training to be effective therapists at home. Through lot's of hard work, our eldest is now at effectively age appropriate speech development, under a year later. They were able to accomplish this under the spectre of the pandemic no-less, with thoughtful, appropriate and responsible use of both teletherapy and modified in-person therapy sessions. It's hard to express how appreciative I am of their services; as we approach the Christmas season, it's remarkable to think that last Christmas our daughter wasn't talking, and this year she is so abuzz about Christmas and Santa and all the presents she's hoping for. It is the best Christmas present a parent could hope for.
