Chameleon Cafe

***Update: The Chameleon closed its doors and will be missed as a former neighborhood "relax spot" for many of the residents of Russian Hill. The Chameleon is a quiet cafe with a few comfy couches that make it easier to get lost in your work for an afternoon. The food is tasty and all the beverages served cause people to return as happy customers. Every Thursday night you can expect a food truck or bbq outside the door, yum.

Coffee 4/5 Service 4/5 Price for dry banana bread 1/5 This place was cozy, friendly, and the coffee was good. But, it was not until I read my receipt after I left I saw they charged me $2.99 for a slice of banana bread that tasted like it should have come out of a day old bin. Stop here for coffee, skip the pastry.

This place has the biggest croissants I've ever seen...and every single bite is fantastic. Coffee is pretty good too and it's a nice little neighborhood coffee shop. Definitely try to hit this spot every time I'm in this area of town visiting my friends.
