My honest review of this building, that I know so well would be far too complex for Google Maps. Suffice it to say, you should never rent space here. Not to work, not to live, not to do anything. The people here who are renting here, have been through a lot. Respect them for their struggle and will to survive. The restaurant in front is really the only reason to go. There used to be a dialysis center here but they left. The shop owners are all nice people. The few of them that are here. There is a water store. A nail salon. And probably the worst parking situation in San Diego. Your car is safer from dents, parking in actual Vietnam than this place. If you stand in or around the Asia Business Center long enough, a crackhead will just appear. They might talk to you, or just yell at the sky. You know how crackheads are. There used to be a guy who lived in his van in the parking lot here. He had a sign on his window that said CIA DEMON. There was also a guy named Johnny who "worked" here years ago. He would rob other local business' and then try to sell their furniture to you. Pretty sure he was also homeless. The frustrating part of this buildings existence is that it could be the hub of a community, and because of terrible ownership and management it's just a monument to disaster sitting on El Cajon Blvd. Maybe one day, it'll go back to being a hotel where you can rent by the hour, which is what it was before it got a face-lift and became what you see today.
