San Carlos Chamber of Commerce

The San Carlos Chamber of Commerce has been a great way for me to get involved in the community.  I was born and raised in San Carlos, so I have many found memories of the town growing up.  It's been great to have a platform like the Chamber to promote my business and participate in the many events that they're a part of.  I've enjoyed working with Dave, Lynn, Aleilee and Wendy since joining in 2014 (and Charmaine as well before she left!).  I'd highly encourage anyone looking to get involved in their community and strengthen their network in the community to join!

I am so happy I joined the San Carlos Chamber of Commerce last year. Not only has this been great for my business, J Hilburn Men's Custom and Luxury Clothing, but I have also met some of the most wonderful people. I love that we have the opportunity to belong to a networking group which really adds value to the membership. In addition, the social activities are always well planned and FUN. I have volunteered at the Farmer's Markets and at the Art and Wine Festival and I really enjoy every thing I do with the chamber. The staff is supportive of all of the members and take suggestions from us without blinking an eye. If you live or work in or around the area, I highly recommend joining this unique and welcoming Chamber!

My company, Companion Care Services, has been a member of The San Carlos Chamber of Commerce for close to 2 years.  It is great to be part of a Chamber where the staff, board and members are so supportive to the community, each other and our businesses.The networking groups are such an added bonus.  Because of the trust formed with other network/chamber members, when you give or receive a referral, you know your referral will be well taken care of.  Mixers and other events such as The Art & Wine Faire are A+ and are well attended.  I highly recommend joining!

As a member of the San Carlos Chamber for over 20 years I can highly recommend it.  It has been a consistent source of business referrals and friends.  The San Carlos Chamber consistently has the best mixers and provides the best opportunity to network.  If you are looking for a way to generate more business the San Carlos Chamber is a good choice.  But let me warn you, do not expect the Chamber to make you a success.  You have to work at networking. They offer free networking groups to all members as well as fun events to volunteer at and promote your business including the Art and Wine Faire as well as the Farmers Market. The San Carlos Art and Wine Faire is the best on the Peninsula!  Paying your dues will not get you business, you need to get involved!

A business organization that actually gets the fact it's part of a community?  Get outta here!  Yes, it's true - the value this organization adds to the community (business and overall regional community) is tremendous.  It's a great staff, solid leadership, and a legacy of contributions.  With the Art & Wine Faire that now features local beers and wines, a farmers market, and regular mixers and other events, I feel that I'm contributing to successful organization.  While I might not see direct benefit for being a member, and I don't expect that for my business, I do recognize the indirect benefits and pass-through contributions to the community.
