David was the sales rep we worked with at Pintura Paint Store . He was very knowledgeable and very professional. He actually took the time to work with us one on one looking at the many different colors and shades.. Its nice to know in these troubled times there are still people who are professional, knowledgeable, and willing to help

Sure, you can get quality paint at a box store IF you can figure out what you need. IF you can get the attention of a red or blue vest. What you can't get is impeccable personalized service. I have an old money pit I am remodeling. I went to the Historic Homeowners Fair last month. Pintura had a booth there. I stopped and asked a few questions and picked up a card. I needed a special color mix that could apply to metal and same color to stain wood. I went to the store a couple of weeks ago and met with Carlos. I explained what I needed and he said "no problem". He mixed up a sample of each type of paint. Went home and tried it out on the metal and the wood. Absolute perfection. Color was perfect and the coverage was fantastic. I ordered what I needed over the phone, and they had it ready when I arrived. Everyone there is so nice. The store is bright, well organized, and well stocked with all things "paint". It may cost a bit more (I don't know cause I didn't compare pricing) but the service and attention is worth every cent. I highly recommend this paint store....back to the old school approach of personal service and getting to know the names of the people assisting with important choices.
