There are more funky sandwich joints around town than you might think, and Flour Power Cafe fits in with the best of them. Sandwich choices are often funnily-named or including uncommon ingredients. I don't remember what's in the "Sophie's Choice," but I certainly remember the name. My sandwich was the chicken sandwich with artichokes, tomato, basil, and mozzarella. It was served in a type of pocket bread and was enjoyable. Before the sandwich I started with a chicken quesadilla appetizer. While the quesadilla was good, as was the fresh salsa, the chips that came alongside it were of the Frito Lay variety and too salty. The dish didn't even demand chips in the first place. The puns might be a bit of a stretch - naming the restaurant after a starch, naming a sandwich after a forced decision in which any and all options have equally negative outcomes, but the food's pretty good.
