I used a previous lawyer to handle my case when I was charged with my crimes. Lawyer was alright but never answered my calls or questions. Went to get my record dismissed same thing happened calls and appointments were missed. So I found Paul. Every time I called he answered. All my questions were answered. He was fast and effective. Hes a genuine guy that actually cares and will do his best for you. Thanks Paul.

Summary: Hire him. Five stars. He's an outstanding defense attorney, who did a terrific job for me. I give Paul Grant my highest recommendation. Detail: I was charged with three felonies that, on the surface, appeared to be minor technical violations. However, the penalties for any one of these felony convictions would have been very harsh. I had hired another attorney before I found Mr. Grant. The other attorney claimed to have worked on my case for a year and boasted about how successful he was; but after nearly a year of frustration dealing with this other so called "hot shot" lawyer, it became painfully obvious that he neither allocated the time nor the focus necessary to win my case. Then, due to the delay and poor performance of this previous attorney, the government - in an underhanded way to pressure me - slyly charged me with two of the same felonies again! So here I was, saddled with two cases of three felonies and two felonies, respectively, for five felonies total. Thus, I summarily fired the previous attorney and searched for a new lawyer immediately. I found defense attorney Paul Grant by searching online and, after interviewing more than half a dozen promising candidates, decided to hire Paul. And good thing that I did! He knew the court system well, understood personalities of key individuals - namely my assigned judge and prosecutor (not the same person, though it often felt like it) - and he really devoted a lot of time working with me and a key witness in my case to truly understand the issues in question. His fees were low, his care and dedication obvious, and his professionalism was immediately apparent. Mr. Grant was able to eliminate the five felonies I was charged with by cleverly talking with and personally meeting with the prosecutor, police detective (something like a crass version of inspector Javert), and judge. He presented my case to the government in an informal setting, prior to trial, in as strong of a light as possible. By doing so, he convinced them that the government's case was weak. Moreover, he cleverly crafted an out for the government side that dropped the felony charges against me while simultaneously allowing them to save face. His superb strategy had the effect of extricating me from this nightmare with essentially no penalty. Thus, "All's Well That Ends Well." I remember years ago at Harvard, my dorm was located near the law school, where I often used their gym because it was open earlier than our department's facility. When walking there, I occasionally glanced at an engraving on the neighboring building that read something about the law being, "...those wise restraints that make men free." The criminal justice system I have [unfortunately] experienced is nothing of the sort. However, Paul is definitely one of the few good people in the system. He's a diamond in the rough. Overall, Mr Grant did an outstanding job for me. Hire him.
