We bought a sofa and two matching chairs .. they took our money and we NEVER got the sofa. Repeated calls and emails to them yielded lots of lies: the sofa was supposedly in Denver, then in California .. but so far, it has been three years, and we are stuck with the chairs and no sofa to go with it. Horrible.

I ordered 4 bar stools on July 7th. I was told they would ship in 3 weeks. Finally, nearly four months later after weekly phone calls trying to determine the status of the stools, and multiple lies about their location, and that they were "on the truck to Park city", I had to drive down and get them on October 30th. Never an apology, a discount or anything from the owners. I don't know how this company stays in business. My husband owns a development company and I am a realtor who would have been more than happy to provide referrals, this definitely will not be happening now. I would like to say this is a rare occurrence with Lofgren's, but I have a girlfriend who has had the exact same experience and I wish I had read the reviews before I did business with Lofgren's because it sounds like many people had similar experiences. Get it together or you will be out of business soon.

Honestly, this place has great furniture: great quality and beautiful modern design. The best suggestion I can offer is that if you find something you like on the floor, buy it. However, under no circumstances place a special order. I ordered and paid for a cherry sideboard and was told it would take about eight weeks. They delivered a piece 14 weeks later that was a much darker wood than their dining table I sought to match. To their credit, they agreed to make a lighter one. After I expressed concern about the delay, they assured me it would be done in five weeks. I placed the original order December 7, 2012, and finally received it today, February 22, 2014. This is not a typo. I called about every month or so and was told: "we're still waiting on it;" or "it's in production right now;" or "it's done and on its way;" or "it wasn't quite right so we had to remake it;" or "it should be here anytime now." With all these issues and delays, you would think someone would call me to keep me informed and maybe apologize, but all I encountered was consistent indifference, and even annoyance that I was calling again! Of the multitude of times I spoke with them, they only called me once - in December 2013 to say it was on its way and they would call me when it arrived. No one called again. I finally called again a few days ago and they told me that it was here and sitting in their warehouse. Who knows how long it was waiting there with no one thinking to notify me. They delivered it today and it was a somewhat different style than I ordered, but there was no way I was going to send it back! I've heard that their business is not doing well. It's no wonder with this level of indifference, disorganization, and general incompetence as to customer service.

My wife and I bought a fair amount of furniture from Lofgren's in September and October of 2013. We have been pleased with the quality of the furniture. However, we ordered a sofa sectional in October and we have been given the runaround. We were told that it is an in-stock item and that it would be ready in 2 weeks. It is now late January and we are still waiting. Every time we call it is the same drill. We are so sorry, we have had problems with the shipping company due to bad weather, etc. It will deliver tomorrow. Then we hear nothing for a week, call again and it is the same story. MESSAGE TO LOFGREN'S - stop telling people what you think they want to hear and tell them the truth - that it takes FOREVER to get the furniture but when they do receive it, they will be pleased with the quality. Then if for some reason the furniture comes earlier, they will be pleasantly surprised. My wife and I were planning on buying a lot more furniture from Lofgren's, but we will look elsewhere in the future. It is too bad, we really like their furniture.
