Since I've been looking for an apartment I've stayed here numerous times. Not only are the rooms adequate, but the staff are also extremely helpful. it has some problems I've heard of in the past, but I didn't witness any of it. Great to stay, tell your friends.

I booked a room for my driver last night I own a small trucking business anyway never have I had these issues in the 5 years I've been over the road staying at motels where driver shows up they said no trucks allowed but did not want to give us our money back but wouldn't let my driver stay because he was in a 26ft box truck that takes 4 parking spaces. BEWARE- DO NOT GIVE THIS HOTEL CASH DEPOSIT OR ANY DEPOSIT. As I stepped into the Metropolitan Inn, the promise of a comfortable stay was overshadowed by an unsettling encounter with illegal activity. I approached the front desk where a stern-faced clerk, who I later learned was named DK, requested a cash deposit of $100. Obliging, I handed over the sum, eager to settle into my room for the night. A receipt for the security deposit was handed to me, a tangible reassurance of the transaction. However, the certainty it provided was short-lived. In the whirlwind of settling in, the receipt vanished, either misplaced or stolen from my possession. Concerned, I swiftly contacted the hotel, explaining the situation and my urgent need to retrieve the deposit. The first call, made at 7:00 AM, was an attempt to notify the hotel of my misplaced receipt and the need to recover my deposit. I was informed that in order to reclaim my deposit, I would need to present identification matching the name on the room reservation. It seemed a reasonable request, until a subsequent call shattered any sense of trust I had in the establishment. At 11:00 AM, I dialed the hotel once more, this time to notify them of my delayed arrival. Shockingly, I was informed that my deposit had already been handed over to an individual claiming to be a friend, without any requirement for identification verification. The hotel could not tell me any information about this individual and have no signature or verification of who this person is that was handed my 100 cash deposit. I suspect the front desk agent may be involved in some criminal activity, or simply negligent and did not follow their own policy and procedure. It's evident that something was amiss. Why was there a sudden deviation from standard protocol? Suspicion lingered in the air, casting doubt on the integrity of the establishment. Was DK, the clerk at the front desk, involved in criminal activity? The pieces of the puzzle began to fall into place as I contemplated the possibility of collusion. It was evident that illegal activity had taken place within the confines of the Metropolitan Inn, tarnishing its reputation and leaving me a victim of negligence an deceit. As I will hold the establishment accountable for its actions, determined to reclaim what was rightfully mine and ensure that others would not fall prey to similar schemes in the future.

DO NOT GIVE THIS HOTEL CASH!!!!. My cash deposit was given to an Unknown individual who had found my receipt and went to the front desk And retrieved my money. He was not asked for ID and the hotel couldnt tell me who it was. Dk, front desk agent, Stated we dont have to have ID all we need is the receipt to give them back the money. The worst part about it is I called the hotel because I was gonna be checking out late and I wasnt at the hotel physically and I knew I had misplaced my receipt for the deposit and so I called them and asked them. What can I do? am I gonna be able to just Show ID and get the deposit back. A different agent states as long as your name is on the room and that matches the ID will return the deposit. We will not give out the deposit without ID. And the ID must match the name on the room. He said that matches the name on the room. So tell me, how did this individual get my deposit? I think that there is definitely some sort of something going on with the front desk person and the individual who stole my money. This might be a scam or something of theirs that they do often Innocent people. I am here for a funeral and Im not with anybody else but myself. I have no idea who the individual is that was given my cash deposit. So just to reiterate. I had called the hotel and they said we will not release the security deposit to anyone unless theyre on the room with ID. Just beware of this hotel I would not give them any cash. Im still waiting to hear back from the hotel manager. This is completely unheard of and ridiculous.
