New bathroom counter in master bath and new countertops in three bathrooms and laundry. Thomas stayed in touch with us through the whole process. Very happy with the project.

We have completed (updated) 4 baths, a bar area, and our kitchen using SK&B. All except the 1st bath were with Thomas Prelle's guidance, and needless to say, we were always very satisfied returning customers. Thomas is enthusiastic, meticulous, knowledgeable, explains everything, takes the time to work out details like the awkward angles in our kitchen, sliding grooves in the granite countertops for appliance garage doors, proper lighting, etc. He has great ideas but listens to the client and our ideas too. We found him to be very involved with the contractor once the actual work started. He always seemed fair and a delight to work with. We are glad to be finished with these multiple projects, although everything did go smoothly and according to schedule, and we do now so enjoy the new looks and functions. We would use SK&B and Thomas for our future projects.

We had a total bathroom remodel in 2010 including a Vetrazzo countertop. The Vetrazzo itself is beautiful and even though it was pricey, we were happy with the outcome. It has a 10 year warranty. That is where our dissatisfaction occurred. The customer service provided, especially by Vetrazzo, and also by SVKB was less tha desirable. It took us over 2 months and numerous emails to finally get the chips fixed! Vetrazzo put up numerous barriers and at first denied responsibility. They dragged their feet until we indicated we might take further action. SVKB provided the documentation but basically left the rest up to us. This entire process was quite frustrating and SVKB is still selling the Vetrazzo product. Finally the work was completed today by RL Tile in Salinas. They were very professional and did a great job
