Willson House

As a former former DSP (Direct support Professional )and a former employee for C & C Homes in Eugene and having had prior knowledge and training in the field , having been a former caregiver in the state of Oregon made me fully aware of the codes and regulations. Working at Willson House was a step in the wrong direction for my career. From the first day they wanted me to show up sick and I almost got fired for it mind you these are elderly people and this is COVID season In the community I saw a major lack in communication, This impacted my time in this environment in the following ways. 1. lack of training 2. Lack of management support 3. Lack of knowledge There was an issue with how I was getting trained and I brought it to my boss's attention and my friends later in a private meeting with my higher up and my friend who was also an employee and told me about the job. Earlier I had just gotten back in the state and wanted a stable work environment . I gave it another go and the next day there was not a single ounce more of effort if anything it went worse After two days of working here I would like to say it turned into a hostile work environment which we also brought to their attention and they shrugged it off if a facility cant perform at their work well how can you trust them to take care of a human life its disgusting to see how this went down and I sincerely hope they can fix their mistakes to better the future of the elderly in the facility

Unfair illegal treatment of staff members. High concern on how this will reflect on moral and work ethic due to poor management.

This is a great building. The staff are wonderful, the residents are happy. I feel Willson House has come along way. The vibes have changed so much. They have finally got their core team together and it really shows.

I love the staff here. My little one really enjoyed being here and has really advanced in her communication skills and socializing skills. I feel safe leaving my little here in their care.
