Nearby activities: Pier, Main street shopping, Park for family and kids, Light house you can tour, you can rent golf carts, many tasty restaurants.
Safety: Me and wife walked everywhere, day and night. Felt safe walking at night, coming home from restaurants. Drove to the beach about a mile away if that, plenty of parking.
Walkability: Great Location, we visited several times. Caught many events at park from Inn.
Food & drinks: Amazing Shrimp at all restaurants. Tried just about every place to eat there and there is a great selection to choose from. Sand Castle great place for breakfast, Halfshell , tasty menu. Also by the beach is a couple nice restaurants that were very enjoyable.
Noteworthy details: Just a great place to relax, walk the town, pier, park, take a tour of the island, relax at the beach or pool. Also if you want to take a ride inland, pass the airport at the circle. There is a Really Great BBQ restaurant there.

The Minuses: Cheap Everything and Worn, Mismatched Everything Else.
Walkability: Easy walk to St. Simons Islands shops and restaurants.
Noteworthy details: Across the street from the St. Simons Island Lighthouse and Museum.

Bed was comfortable, room was clean, linens were quality, covered parking was a bonus. Breakfast lacked fruit the 2nd day. That should be provided every morning. It was nice to sit on the patio area of the room at all hours of the day and the dining area.
Yes, an older hotel but well cared for. This will be our go-to whenever we are in the area. Great job, everyone!
