I cant say enough about the Marriott, my favorite place to stay prices are our reasonable worth the extra 50 bucks because youre getting a clean room with great service and all the amenities that you need

I was there for a seminar and Ill say that the room was setup just right for about 500 people, They had a gift at every seat from the Marriott, the room itself was decorated very nicely and the temperature wasnt bad, (a little warm for me but I get hot easily) the food on the other hand was none of the above and certainly not what I expected from the Marriott, I understand the customer picks the package for food but it was definitely not what you would expect from a Marriott in this location. There were danish, bagels, muffins, fruit, juice and coffee, the muffins and danish were not at all fresh, the bagels were not for the lack of a better word good The fruit looked fantastic but it it was hard and bitter and the coffee was just ok,. Im giving it 4 stars because the room made up for the food. So if youre planning a class or something that you would need a room for, ask if you could sample the continental breakfast.

Absolutely disgusting. I stayed two nights at this property. The first night I thought I smelled urine while sleeping but couldnt see any stains on the sheets or the mattress on the right side of the bed where I was sleeping. Thought it was just in my head. The second night I awoke at 2 am because the scent of urine was overwhelming. I ripped the bed apart and was horrified to find the left side under the pillow was soaked in urine. I mean wet topper and mattress, totally wet. Housekeeping literally made the bed up over the very obviously stained, wet, and rancid urine. Of course, I freaked out as this was not only absolutely disgusting but also a health hazard. The manager, Kendall Chalk, came up to the room to see the issue. He apologized and offered points. Points for like $50. Are you kidding me?! Did not comp the room or follow up with me afterwards. Marriotts CS team sent a canned response to my complaint and offered me 4k points. That this would happen is shocking. More shocking is that they just dont care. I did report the issue to the FL health board and took photos. My sister is the GC for their direct competitor and couldnt believe how poorly it was handled. Its the worst thing Ive ever experienced as a traveler, I feel so violated. Also, garbage sat in the hallway for two days. I pointed it out to the manager and it was picked up. There was garbage on the floor in my room when I check in. Front desk staff was rude and ineffective. When I checked in, the woman behind the desk complained that they have to be there 24/7 and complained about working during COVID to support medical personnel staying there. Really? When so many people were losing their jobs and lives? Staff seems miserable. Obviously, dont stay here. Rooms: Biohazard Safety: Not a priority Noteworthy details: Outhouse ambience
