    Property management doesn't care about its tenants. I've had theft twice in the last 6 weeks and the regional managers response when I asked about security cameras was "that's just not going to happen. It's too expensive". Move in at your own risk. And if you do make sure your renters insurance covers all of your belongings.

    I have been living here for 6 years , I 've been always happy with management and maintenance . Currently , we have the worst managemement ever.They don't have any  knowledge of management and communication.  I asked for some maintenance issues in my appartment but there is no luck. No wonder why our best man of the community (Steve) left the office due to shady management. I do not have ay plan moving out , I hate moving but I wish the managment will change and caring and responsible one replace them.

    The manager for the leasing office has been changing so no one knows whats really going on. Complaints are just that. No one takes care of complaints or does anything to help the tenants. I have been dealing with black mold in my apartment for over 2 months and Im not the only tenant experiencing this. Im pretty sure its in the air of my apartment. Before moving me into another unit they want a $2500 fee that was just brought to my attention in may. Even when agreeing to pay the unfair amount they will not help me escape the mold until its paid in full. Theyre also asking for rent on top of that instead of making some accommodations. So even with us agreeing to pay the fee in two payments along with rent. They want the fee in full before they help at all. Im confused on why theyd treat tenants this way when all we want is to escape the mold.

    After six years and two months living in the same unit at Montecito Villas, we'll be vacating our unit at MV at the beginning of next month, but we want to express our gratitude to the current MV management team here.  Prospective tenants out there, this is the place you want to live because right now, we have a truly magnificient management team ever!   We thought the old management team was the best, but since the current management team took over last year, we have to admit this current team is even much better, and many of our neighbors agreed too.Let's start with Levante, the MV valet, he's professional, yet friendly, courteous, helpful, never complaint, quiet, focused, very honest and attentive.  He never make loud noise, hardly ever drop our bin, and when he did (which is ok), he'd pick it up right away, never make noise.  If we're late in taking our bags out, and run toward his big bin to put them in, he'd tell us that he "got it, it's okay, it's my job...," and we see that he extends the same courtesy to neighbors around us.  When walking our dog around the MV campus, we'd always see him helping the maintenance supervisor in other things. Dylan, the MV maintenance supervisor, he's focused, always busy, never complained, has superb maintenance skills and most of all, trustworthy.  We remember the most recent experience we had with him, the time he knocked on our door three weeks ago to answer our work order, he'd go right to the problem we had.  Instead of picked up his phone to call the appliance vendor, Dylan just opened up the washer carefully, diagnosed, and repaired it himself.  He even followed up with a phone call to make sure it's  working ok.  We know it's okay if the same problem can come up again, but never had to call him back once he fixed anything in our unit.  Also, we know that If we have to step out of our unit, we never worry about Dylan coming in here working on things by himself, that's how much we trust him.  Last but not least, Shawanda Campbell, the MV Leasing Specialist, she told us she's a temp, otherwise we wouldn't have known.  She's professional, never complained, intelligent, pays attention, listens well, she's business like but oh so pleasant to deal with, she has great communication skills,  because everytime the maintenance supervisor knocked on our door, he'd know exactly the problem we had.  We know that working in the leasing office one has to wear so many hats, and she wears it well.  When walking our dog around here, we often hear people compliment her, vendor, neighbors, prospective tenants etc...   She's really a great asset to MV, we're really lucky to have her.We can go on and on, because the above mentioned MV management team is truly great.  FPI is really lucky to have them!(Tom) T S H & (Becky) B N NMV residents
