Come every year 4th of July- we rent 12 rooms or more every year we grow and every year we are treated well! The food is Yummy - the view is amazing and the help is great some people have come and gone but John and Tonya are always nice !! They have gone out if their way to accommodate some of our crazy requests- we are all booked up for this year and have a few more families with us ! Cant wait to make more memories!! Lookout here we come- we eat alot!

It was an honor to stay here, my grandfather is the original owner of the hotel and what was a market/general store which was all called The Sandpiper, now The Dunes and Surf Sessions. Its the perfect location, the best sunsets, amazing beach combing..such a wonderful place, and still has that nostalgic old school feel.

STAY ANYWHERE ELSE Called the night before we arrived. Tried to make a reservation so we knew we had a spot they we insistent that there were plenty of rooms. Showed up 12 hours later to someone yelling at us not to park there when we told them we were checking in they yelled back rudely I hope so. After being wrong about us being able to park at the motel we were planning on staying at the terribly rude person behind the desk wouldnt even look at us. She must have lied about the vacancy because the sign 5 feet from the desk said vacancy. And there were very few cars in the parking lot. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND. If this is how the manager treats potential customers I have no idea why anyone would want to be anywhere near this level of negativity and unprofessionally.

First off i would like to clarify for those reading this. When you called last night you were told we SHOULD have plenty of rooms, A lot of things effect that such as when you came in we only had one house keeper for 45 rooms who was doing the best she could to get them clean and our priority is cleaning the rooms we have booked reservations on!second. We do take reservations all hours so we had quite a few off street people come in last night which means again.. dirty rooms to clean! So sir you may have not seen many cars here but you have no idea what goes into running a motel etc. And as for rude when i yelled over to ask if you were staying here we do it often as people just park here for the beach and if i do not catch them they are here all day and i try to not tow people but it has occurred. As i was doing so one member in your party yelled back nice talking to you etc... and the other said oh i think she is yelling at you ... So sir you have a wonderful day!
