Rocky Sanders Hardwood Floors

I hired Rocky to install wood flooring in three bedrooms and refinish the floors in the rest of the house so that it all matched. It was a disaster. He installed the wrong wood, putting white oak in the bedrooms only to find red oak when they started sanding the existing wood in the rest of my house. I was extremely upset, and the only solution he offered was to use a darker stain. My original plan was to leave the wood natural, so darker stain was not something I wanted to do. And I later found in researching, that even darker stain will not cover the error—the difference in wood will always show. He refused to take responsibility or give me any money back so I could have it fixed, despite admitting that it wasn’t my fault (obviously). I truly understand that mistakes happen, but when they do you have to make them right. And Rocky didn’t do that in any way. There were many other red flags prior to that point (e.g., unresponsive to communication, no interest in discussing finishing options, sending a guy to sand my floors on his first day on the job which resulted in a very poor sanding job). For these reasons, there is no way I would recommend Rocky Sanders. Services: Installation, Sanding
