Ampa Events is a very professional business. Their staff is extremely responsive and easy to work with and they did an outstanding job providing services for the USS John C. Stennis Holiday Party. I heard compliments from every level of the Command about the decorations, photo booths, arcade games and other services Ampa Events provided for this event.

Really wanted to use this company, they have great stuff but they have horrible customer service. My initial quote request and first three conversations with Leslie I was incredibly clear that the event was outdoors, I even provided her with Google earth images where things like grass and trees were visible on our layout. She loved the plan but then I had to chase her down to get the quote in writing. After speaking to her boss Ted she then began pushing me towards renting custom made items for more than they cost to manufacture and deliver without any explanation, just pushing me to quadruple my budget. I kept asking for a written quote on what we originally discussed until Ted jumped in and insisted I misunderstood leslie for weeks. I found Ted to be very condescending and quite frankly a bit of a bully. There was no miscommunication on my end, I dont know why Leslie kept promising me something they couldnt do, yet at the end of the day Ted is upset I wont spent $10k on a gate they rent for $450.

I was very excited to work with Ampa Events for my 2022 wedding after reading their reviews and seeing their past work, however I had a horrible experience with their customer service. I had a very promising phone call with one of the event designers, Leslie Amason, discussing all our details and specs for our wedding and she promised a proposal within two weeks. However after two weeks, nothing. I followed up, and she asked for additional time as they were in the middle of busy season. Two weeks later, she asked for additional time. I followed up three separate times after that over and no response. After two months, I have yet to hear back from Leslie. If Amapa Events was too busy to take my business, I wish they would have at least given me a heads up, so I could start to look for other decorators.
