Mr. Maloney convinced me to hire him for my case. He is very knowledgeable and experienced from our first conversation. I was excited to work with him.
After payment was made, I didnt hear from him after several calls and emails. I was wondering when we was going to prepare. I was frustrated and upset he wasnt going to show up.
It wasnt until my court day and the judge called my name that he walked in and up to me. Guess I looked like I was looking for someone. He finally walked in, asked if I was his client and asked me to step in hall. He did a run down of the case and presented me with information from opposing counsel. I felt he should have been able to respond too.
His support team is no better with communication and relaying messages. Opposing counsel sent information pertaining to my case and he never saw it until court. He acknowledged he did not communicate well to me. I feel ripped off and want a refund. I paid for representation not provided. Just my experience

Terrible lawyer. Terrible communication. No preparation for court, I got the run down AT court. I feel like he lied to me about what would happened if I decided to plea not guilty. After accepting the plea, he came to sit beside me in the courtroom and whispered, I dont want you to second guess your plea when you hear the prosecutor doesnt have a lot of evidence. He scammed me out of 2k only to do NO work on my case. I hope he never gets another client. Patty wasnt much more help either. She said to me when I called a week before court that We told you when you hired us that we wont reach out to the clients or schedule appointments with them, they have to contact us. I honestly had a chance of fighting my case. I even had video evidence that I didnt do it that I submitted. But they said you couldnt see who was doing the crime. However, the person in the video was of different race then me so even if you cant see WHO was doing it, you can clearly see it wasnt me. He manipulated me into taking a plea by exaggerating what the prosecutor had and what would happen if I plead guilty. He told me if I plead not guilty, everyone involved wouldve been charged. Idk why I believed him because of that was the case, they wouldve been charged that night. Please dont waste your time on this dishonest lawyer unless you want the minimum amount of work done on your case and plan to plea out. I wouldve been better off with a court appointed. Smh.
