Riverside EyeCare Professionals

I scheduled an Eye Exam with this facility. They billed it as a Specialist Exam without my knowledge or consent. The exam was the usual routine eye exam, so when I left the facility, I was unaware that they would be billing this visit as a Specialty Exam. I am now stuck with a bill due for over $200. This is fraudulent. I never gave consent to bill this as a Specialty Exam and I was never made aware that they were going to do this.

Very nice place to go to get your eyes fixed and very nice people who work there so if you visit Redding CA area and need your eyes fixed stop on by and they will take good care of you

My wife had cataract removal and elected to also pay $2,500 for "Advanced Technology Cataract Package of $2,500 for each eye. They always insisted upon our prepaying everything in advance and never once gave us an invoice. The surgeries were performed on 1-23-24 and 2-6-24. Even though they had contacted the insurance company in advance they still charged us the full amount as if we had no insurance coverage. They admit we over paid but said they are awaiting for the insurance to process the second overpayment so they can refund us for both on one check. My insurance company said they have not received anything for the 2-6-24 surgery and Riverside EyeCare says they sent it. It is now 3/26/24 and I still have not received anything else. I have talked with them numerous times and on the phone and in person.
