We had a great experience working with Stafford Construction to build an 18x20 screened in porch. Jonathan was responsive throughout the entire process and we are thrilled with the outcome! I work in real estate and after renovating several houses as well personally, I have worked with 50+ different types of contractors over the years and can honestly say this was one of the best experiences Ive had. We already have plans to use him for our next phase of our renovation and I would highly recommend him!

Jonathan and his team at Stafford Construction are top-notch. We gathered bids for a Trex deck and screen porch project and went with Jonathan after a referral from our good friends and we couldn't be happier. It was nice to see the owner of the company working on our project every step of the way. Jonathan and his team were timely, great communicators and very tidy. Jonathan's attention to detail is exacting. Our project turned out to be bigger than we expected but because of the trust we had in Jonathan, we knew the recommendations he was making were in the best interest of us and our home. Our toddler enjoyed watching Jonathan work and our dog loved him too.

My 76 year old mother was in need for a simple 8 x 15 deck built off the back of her townhouse so she could step onto a safe, level platform. Well, simple is not how I would describe it. I won't waste your time to read about the five month pain-staking permit process and ridiculous costs associated, but I will tell you about a contractor, Jonathan Stafford, who went so far over and beyond to walk with us every step of the way for an easy three day project. Stafford should have dropped our project like a hot potato, but no. He provided us with all the necessary City information to ensure we understood how to could get the required documents needed. Again, I don't want to bore you, but if you are considering a home improvement project and looking for a honest, fair, respectable and high quality contractor, please look no further. Jonathan Stafford is the finest construction professional I have ever met. This says a lot as my professional occupation is in property management who works with vendors every day. His attention to detail and his personal ethical personality made us feel protected and in good hands. Don't waste your time searching any further for the best contractor in the Triangle area.
