I do not recommend this lawn service. It is extremely overpriced for the mediocre work that is performed. They're never on a regular schedule, they just seem to show up whenever and I never knew when they would come. Only gave one star because there isn't a zero star rating.The employees whip around on mowers so fast they leave high spots and uncut areas in the grass. They also left skid marks from the mower tires in my drive from turning around so fast. There were places in my yard where the mower turned so fast and abruptly the employee tore my yard up, my yard had mud ruts and bald spots due to this. I also had several rock chips on my vehicle from the employees edging my driveway right beside my vehicle. They always rang my doorbell asking me to move my vehicle so they could get into the back yard, but they couldn't ask me to move so my vehicle wouldn't get damaged. There is zero pride taken in the job they do.Fast forward a few months when covid came along, times became hard for my family as work stopped for me, my spouse was deployed to the middle east, school was all virtual and shut down. With three children under the age of ten, spouse gone for an entire year things were very stressful, even more so since my income was gone.I called to cancel service or try and negotiate a payment plan with the owner (who was very rude) he then informed me that we would owe two month of service pay without any service to cancel the contract. Up to this point we have never missed a payment and we were paid up in full to that month. I looked at our contract and it did say that, so make sure to read the fine small print with this guy as he did not disclose this information to us at the time of signing. When he came and explained everything to me after he went through the contract I asked him if that was everything I needed to know and he assured me that he covered everything, so lesson learned on my behalf.We chose Moore's Lawn Service because all the trailers have John 3:16 on them, as Christians we assumed we were using a great company with great service and more importantly integrity. The reviews were good as well, but then i went back to read then and noticed that they were all two years old, two were from the same person who has two different accounts, the other two I am assuming is family/friend as one of the reviewers has the same last name. That alone leaves me to question the integrity of this company. The only thing I've learned is that the owner only cares about money and nothing for the community. I offered to pay a lesser amount (without service) and once our income crisis changed; I even offered to pay the full amount plus the extra. The owner declined (very rudely) and said I'd have to pay the full two months upfront or he would take me to court.If covid hadn't abruptly hit and stopped everything in its tracks there wouldn't have been a problem. But there was zero communication or willingness to work with us.To the owner of Moore's Lawn Service, I hope you and your family ate well and were comfortable during this uncontrollable pandemic. I didn't ask to be laid-off and my family was counting on my income. You Sir need to re-evaluate yourself and you're one the most selfish, greedy, pettiest, and rudest people I've ever encountered. Your lawn service is a joke and there is zero excuses to the unacceptable work that you and your employees perform. If I was able to afford legal representation you wouldn't be in business and you'd owe me for the repairs I had to make to my vehicles paint and pay the generous man who pressure washed all the black marks and ground in grass (green stains) on my driveway your employees left behind. I recommend you spot check your employees work and if you're okay with the subpar work they leave behind then you just further prove my point that you're a greedy money hungry person. There is zero pride taken in your or your employees work.WORST LAWN COMPANY I'VER EVER DONE BUSINESS WITH!!!!!!
