They came out around October my husband called them the next week after hard rain to tell them the awning was leaking and the man told him he would come back and check it out in a day or two and never showed up then started ignoring his calls porch still leaks only worse now .so if you hire them I would suggest you make them run water over it before they leave. We are disabled senior's and it's not right we paid all that money and still get wet

Shady vent put a metal roof on my house a few years ago, installed new windows as well.   The roof had a 60 year warranty.  I recently noticed a wet spot on my ceiling and called shady vent since I had the warranty,  I was told that they no longer serviced metal roofs and that warranty was no good.   I also told them I felt air coming in from the window they failed to fix this problem also.   Shady vent is a shady company. I am very dissatisfied with this group and I would not recommend anyone to ever use this group.    I have nothing good to say about this group.

You can't get a better person to service your awning project than Steve Baguley. He's professional, honest and delivers results. I known Steve for 20 years and can't say enough good things about him.

My experience with contractors lately makes me feel like I'm living in the twilight zone. It's as if they don't follow the rules that the rest of us do in trying to run a business.Anyway, terrible customer service. I am not a picky person, but when you say you are going to do something, please do it. They said they'd be out to give us an estimate on a new roof on Day X. It came and went with no word from them, and trying to contact them got us no where. Meanwhile, we had to move on because we were on time constraints, and got our estimate from someone else. About a week and a half later, the person who was originally supposed to do the estimate called to say that they had finally gone out to see the roof, and that it was too steep and could not be done. REALLY? Multiple competitors made no mention of the slope of the roof. Isn't that your job as a roofer to get up on steep roofs and fix them? Crazy. Not only that, but how about following through with what you promise or at least communicating if you are unable to.
