In my years of working childcare ive never entered a professional business where ive been treated the way ive been treated here. Being thrown into one of the largest classrooms at the daycare without any training from them and being outnumbered by the children as a new teacher was extremely overwhelming for new hires. It was also very unprofessional and isolating for someone who is new to the business. The owner will constantly interrupt you to give you harsh criticism and reprimands without understanding the circumstances you are in. They will also hurl procedures at you that you should have discussed from the beginning, leaving you feeling uncomfortable. There are employees who care and will step in to answer concerns and aid, but they are all treated similarly. It appears that with the number of children vs. teachers, treatment, and low teacher pay, it is a money grab. No professional day care would conduct their business in this manner and fail to appreciate the challenges that teachers confront on a daily basis. As a new recruit, you are given limited supplies and criteria to teach that you must purchase on your own, and after a week or two, they will go over the handbook with you. When you make a mistake that should have been taught to you from the beginning and might have been avoided by extra personnel for new hires, Could have been avoided with more staff for new hires. They place all of the blame on you, making you feel isolated and alone. They do not take steps or procedures to help you learn and avoid making the same mistake again. It's a shame you're ultimately training yourself there, with the occasional old man coming in to tell you what you need to do better without any positive encouragement. I feel bad for the instructors here who work so hard to keep their classrooms running and their students learning despite the difficult environment and low salaries they all need a raise. To prospective hires that apply here, do your research and don't fall victim to these things. This is your warning.

My daughter has been attending tinker bell for the past year and it has always given the feeling of a small and warm family environment that makes me feel secure and safe dropping her off each day. The staff and directors(Ms.Salena & Mr.Parker) have always been so attentive and always happy to greet you at the door. My daughter has learned so much in such a short amount of time. The curriculum is hands down the best around and Im very pleased with the environment and atmosphere. 10 out of 10 recommend

My son has been going to this daycare for 4 years. The staff are kind, caring and supportive to the children in their care and to the parents. Their curriculum is structured and my son has learned so many skills beyond the first grade skill set. Once my daughter is of age she will also attend their daycare and I cant wait to see how she will blossom in their care.

Tinker Bell is amazing. Their curriculum is very fun, but also the children learn. The teachers educate and genuinely care for your children.

FIND SOMEWHERE ELSE!! So I came in about a month or so ago to do a tour of the program. During the tour everything went well of course because they were expecting me. My son wasnt two yet so I did not register him at the time. I stopped in this morning to complete the registration forms and observed a teacher literally screaming at and posturing over a child who appeared absolutely terrified and had their head down on the table. There was also another teacher present in the room. For her to feel comfortable doing that in front of a colleague and other students that let me know thats the norm here. I looked directly at her to let her know I just observed what she did. She gave a snide mind your business kind of look. I dropped that pen so fast and left. My son will not be in an environment where the adults berate the children in the manner that I witnessed this morning. Absolutely disgusting! As a mandated reporter I will be calling CPS.
