Arthur Murray teaches any type of partner dancing you can think of such as Waltz, Tango, Salsa, West Coast swing, etc. The organization excels at teaching adults with little or no dance experience. This is largely because of their syllabus and high quality instructor training program, IMO. Ive come to appreciate Arthur Murray as my favorite way to get exercise and connect with music. Its also been a fun way to meet new people in all stages of life. As a bonus, research shows that partner dancing prevents Alzheimers better than anything else. :)
The pricing for their packages can initially cause sticker shock, but the pricing is actually quite comparable to the same services at other studios. The difference is that you pay for everything up front with Arthur Murray, and students progress much faster because of the way that they structure private lessons, group sessions, and practice parties.
All the instructors here are great fun, supportive, energetic, and really knowledgeable about dance. Highly recommend!

Really lovely experience. Once the lessons become more in-depth the price for 45 minute one-on-one lessons goes from $110 to $140 or $3/min
The first 6 lessons are mainly breaking the ice, trying styles you probably wouldn't, and affirming what you want to do going onward.
I was able to dance with Heidi and Rita and both are fantastic trainers passionate to the dance.
I think I'm better off returning when I'm older and insurance offers to pay for my lessons hehe.

Really welcoming and fun environment to learn how to dance! Not awkward at all and we learned really quickly. The instructors are all really talented and friendly. Definitely plan on coming back for more private and group lessons!
