Great food, amazing service and such an awesome tradition. If you want a proper steak dinner, this is the only game in town.

RingSide never disappoints. The atmosphere is like going back in time. Low lights, white table clothes, tuxedo dressed servers make you feel special. The food is cooked with compassion and care. Indulge yourself with the Onion Rings and the Fried Chicken!

We went again in June 2023. The service was excellent and attentive. The food was very good. One of the nicest restaurants in Portland. Especially since in general service has declined greatly post covid overall. The valet was fast as well a friend drove over even on the day of a Timbers game.

My food was surprisingly fairly average. Filet mignon cooked correctly but quite firm, a bit too salty. It was OK I guess. Interesting though because the house was packed. Valet parking full, line out the door. Surely a popular place. I went expecting to spend dollars so I didn't blink when the bill arrived, I left a deserved 20 percent tip. So it was steak, onion soup, baked potato, iced tea, two pieces of bread, as expected, a hundred dollars before tip. I go into any high end restaurant expecting best food and don't care about price. Service was great, food was pretty good I guess. Entree presentation was great. I probably won't be back anytime soon but I think everyone should try Ringside because it's a great Portland experience... Still yet I'm tossed, I recently sauteed my own filet mignon purchased from New Seasons, strangely enough, really did come out more flavorful, more tender than the steak I went out to dinner for. Still glad to have dined there though.
