        I am currently living in an apartment building owned by Century Associates that has been having electrical, painting and mason work/repairs daily for over a year now. The balcony for my studio apartment has been closed off for almost two weeks with about an inch of concrete dust on it. The only source of air flow is only the balcony because the studio apartment has no windows. When I called Century Associates to ask for a pro rated rent because my habitablity has been affected I was told the balcony is an amenity. Then with a condescending tone I was told highlight the part of the balcony being included in my rental agreement and email it to them. Neither of the two people that I spoke with were concerned about the issue and the balcony is not in the amentities part of the contract.
