Community Thrift Store

Was excited to check this store out for the first time last Saturday to find a chair for my daughter. We arrived 20 minutes BEFORE they closed to see what they had. When we parked by the front window, we saw 2 employees running up from further back in the store. As we are walking to the door, one of the employees shut off the open sign and the other hurried to lock the doors. I knocked on the door to see if we could enter and the employee with the septum piercing opened the door and said, "we just closed". I said, "your sign says open for another 20 minutes ". She laughed and said, "no, we've been slow so we just closed early". We saw them laughing in the store as we were leaving. Unbelievably unprofessional!

The manager of this store is terrible. She treats her employees and volunteers really badly. Worked for this store for about 8 years and seen about 100 people that come and go because of the manager name Shari. She'll yell at her employees in front of the customers instead of pulling them in the office. I highly don't recommend this store at all. This Store could prosper greatly without her being a manager because all she does is run it in the ground honestly......

Pricing is good as long as it's not furniture. $40 for a bedside table, $60 for a set of 4 dinning room chairs. I could go on. They get this stuff for free. Do not shop here for furniture.

On the website it says it's open until 5pm. Nobody wants to work after 4pm. I went to go pick up furniture by the register section. When asked why it says on website open until 5pm. The woman said "sorry this side (register section) is closed, the other side is open". How can you close the register section and have the rest of the store open. LOL
