image Super great staff! Classes and events are put together with a great amount of thought to a well-rounded outcome, making a family bond with real-life strategies and lessons. I can't say enough, and my words speak of the gratitude with amazement of what an art class can do when you have people who care.

image As a mental health provider, working with autism kids and youths and adults. I felt the need to volunteer my time, skills and talents to this organization. However, was very disappointed when checking in upon my arrival, they asked for my pronouns. Red flag number one. As corrine and James(a female) introduced themselves, red flag number two, three and so on started to show themselves. Im not against anyone expressing themselves artistically. However when I asked the lady at check in about the pronouns and asked if they teach, and instill these unhealthy delusional, and toxic behavior, She said, Yes, we follow the kids lead. What? She also stated it would be something they go over in volunteer orientation.
This is NOT acceptable. As a mental health provider working with kids dealing and healing through the trauma, this is hugely adding to it. They are not in a state of mind where you would assume because a male is showing a feminine side, does not mean they are transgender. Whatever that even means. They can not comprehend what this means. This place is NOT a place to take a child to heal from their trauma through creative healing expressions with Adults who have an agenda to confuse, and add to their trauma. Adults know better and they are taking advantage of the kids with arts n crafts and confusing them about them on who they are. Gods children need to be shown love, compassion n nurture these kids, not add to their trauma. Shame on you corrine and James(she) and the entire organization staff that allows this organization to work with our children and confuse them.

Business Response on Google Dec 11th, 2023
We appreciate your passion and interest in working with youth. We are sorry to encounter a difference in views on a matter like gender expression. With those we work with both volunteers and participants, we seek to accommodate their personal wishes for self-expression whenever possible as means to recognize the inherent worth and dignity of the whole person. We are thankful for the care and dedication of staff like James and Corinne.
