I called Posel on a whim when I was visiting Philly to find somewhere to live for school.. and my experience with them since that point 4 years ago has been absolutely phenomenal. I was met at the apartment I was interested in almost immediately and very quickly agreed to lease. The apartment itself was newly renovated and very well done with modern finishes, wood floors and stainless steel appliances (even a gas stovetop!). When minor maintenance issues came up, the management team quickly got staff to come by.. even if it was just to change a light bulb. Countless times over the past few years have they gone out of their way to make things run smoothly and I never had a single issue with the apartment or their management. I was always treated with the utmost respect and care. They were very fair when it came to renewing the lease as well.. I ended up staying 4 years in the same apartment and have enjoyed every moment. They also use a website to process rent payments every month which made it very easy. Set up an email reminder, log on the first of every month and rent is paid within 2 minutes. I never had any issues at all with invoices and I was consistently billed the correct agreed upon amount over 4+ years. I highly recommend Posel and their properties in Center City!!

Do not rent from this company. Some of the employees you deal with are rude and do not treat you with respect. I am a 23 year old graduate student, and I was treated like a whining teenager. None of the concerns I raised were listened to, and I was always met with sarcastic and unprofessional responses. The accounting is poorly managed at the company, and when alerted to the problem the appropriate actions are not taken to rectify the situation. The company will charge you fees without your knowledge and will not give back money they owe you. I would suggest finding another company that treats you fairly and with respect. The accounting is poorly managed at this company. First, my house was charged a late fee when we had thousands of dollars of credit in our account. The person in charge of our property said it would be removed, and it was for that month. However, the next month we were charged for it without our knowledge. Also, one month, one of the rent check from a roommate was deposited in an account for another property. Again, because of credit on our account, the deficit was not found. There was no communication about the missing check. The people were not able to tell which roommate paid each month, and said we had to figure it out by cashed checks and the invoice of all credits and charges they sent us. At the end of the year, our account showed a $700 deficit and the company said we owed that. I spent 6 hours going through the invoice for our account, and I found the errors. The missing check that was deposited with the accompanying late fee, and the other late fee they never told us we were charged. I went to the company and spoke with one of the employees, and was told we were okay and the entire deposit would be returned. However, this was never communicated to the person who managed my account. Later when the deposit was returned the $700 was missing. I emailed the person about this, and was told that I would not receive that money back. I explained how this was their accounting error, and not mine, however, they did not accept this and said I was wrong. Another roommate called, and was treated very rudely. The employee would not let her speak, said it was my fault, and said they were in this situation. She would not return emails from me, and treated me very rudely whenever she did respond. Again, I would suggest finding a company that is more efficient in managing multiple property accounts, and one that treats you with respect. If you do use this company, make sure to keep close track of your payments because they will charge and not tell you.
