        Terrible place. I brought my vehicle in for an opinion on what was wrong with it and they charged me $160 for a diagnosis. Never explained beforehand that Id be getting charged and there are also no signs explaining that on the inside.

        If your looking for a trust worthy mechanic this is the place Ive been to 3 other mechanics for my car having same problem wish I took here from the jump I had a great experience with them I wouldnt go any where else in the area

        We were stranded on the side of the road with our travel trailer in tow. Our truck had overheated. We were towed by Tucker's towing, awesome service, to Whelan's. They were very accommodating. We were allowed to park our camper in their lot. They fixed our truck the next morning. And we were very happy with them. Very easy to deal with. Would definitely use them again if necessary, and highly recommend.

      Hi Sean, We absolutely make it clear that there is a diagnostic fee for vehicles when they are brought in to troubleshoot. Our techs are highly trained and they can not spend the proper time diagnosing problems without being compensated for their professional time. Often customers choose not to fix their vehicles when there is an issue. And we still have to charge for the diagnosis even if a customer decides to take the vehicle somewhere else. Sorry if you misunderstood or didn’t comprehend what you were agreeing to when you brought your vehicle in for a diagnostic check. This is a very normal part of the automotive business model.
