From the bottom of my heart I want to recognize the hard work, professionalism, genuine kindness, and care of Dr. Knutson and Dr. Durante with my boyfriends 3 y/o cockatiel, Leslie! Leslie was admitted with high levels of vomiting and lethargy and she was discharged with happy chirps and lots of energy! Dr. Durante went above and beyond with his bedside manner and support. We were so happy that Leslie was in good hands with such animal-loving, kind-hearted, and knowledgeable professionals. Thank you Oradell Hospital for your service, compassion, and comprehensive support! Our hearts are so happy to hear Leslies chirp again!!!!

Have spent tens of thousands of dollars here over the years. Currently sitting for hours in the ER waiting room while my moaning dog cant get seen. How can a place with so many employees have no ability to process emergency patients? (follow up: after three hours was able to find out my dog likely has cancer and paid another 1600 dollars) 4/9: My dog ultimately turned out to have a gigantic mass in his chest and had to be put to sleep due to organ failure 4 days later - I'm currently making arrangements to pick up his body today. I'm appalled that given the way this played out - someone would have the nerve to reply to me like this today. A dog with a limp was prioritized over him that day. Would be happy to sit and review lab values / x-rays from that day to understand how he was triaged appropriately.

We saw Dr. Schrope for a cardiology assessment and could not have had a better experience. We had an appointment and were seen quickly, got testing done, and had everything explained to us. Everyone was very nice, professional, and we are glad we have a specialist who is board certified to see our big boy.

After a rough journey trying to find a place to do an emergency abdominal ultrasound for my kitty best friend, we were sent here. The reviews scared me a bit but we were treated with nothing but patience and kindness since we arrived. Admin was excellent and thorough. Nurses were so sweet and our vet, Dr. Katelyn Iuliani was AMAZING. So thorough and gave us options for our treatment. We felt like we had say in our kittys treatment which was so amazing in such a scary situation. I will say the wait time can be a bit long, but the treatment was so worth it.

Thank you to Dr Higgins and Dr Kochie. Oradell was amazing with our 7 y/o golden. We were at VEG the night before and they totally missed the signs and didnt perform the fast scan that my pup Georgia needed to diagnose the fluid around her heart. Oradell took my baby in right away for lethargy, difficulty breathing, weakness and vomiting, she was barely able to walk. I appreciated that they were looking at the symptoms in front of them- VEG said it wasnt necessary when I was pushing for ultrasound because of her trouble breathing and walking because her pulse was normal at the time. Oradell saw the signs immediately and brought her back straight away. We received a devastating diagnosis of hemangiosarcoma, a metastasized tumor on the heart - but I could not be more thankful to Dr Higgins in the ER department, who had amazing bedside manner while updating us on Georgias condition but was also worked very hard to secure Georgias echocardiogram and pericardiocentesis on an extremely busy day. Also huge thank you to Dr Kochie, we did not meet her but I know she was essential in Georgias diagnosis and her treatment. The entire team had amazing bedside manner and compassion from the front desk, nurses and all the doctors and tech, and Im so thankful. I had a discussion with Dr Higgins about the likelihood of this bleeding occurring again, the seriousness of this diagnosis and I appreciate that she was upfront with me. She was able to navigate the sensitive nature of the diagnosis but deliver all of the information I needed. After we were discharged, I had a few questions about medication side effects and end of life care and I really appreciated her time to take my call. We had an amazing weekend with Georgia and she crossed the rainbow bridge before suffering through another hemorrhage. These photos were taken the day before she passed. I would never choose another hospital- if you have an emergency, come to Oradell and skip VEG, there are specialists, more access to testing and equipment. Youll end up paying similar fees anyhow.
