Edge Physical Therapy

Over the past decade I have been to several physical therapy companies, with the last one and my current one at Edge Physical Therapy in Papillion. They have a competent staff that are well versed on specialty areas, they have all the necessary equipment for rehabilitating any injury, and take the time necessary at the office, as well as prescribing at-home exercises. I am treated as a friend with an injury, not a billing number.

I came to see Mike Bartels at Edge for help with chronic hamstring injuries in both legs which have kept me from running much in the last five years. Mike helped me sort through a complicated mix of factors relevant to my physical alignment and the resulting injuries. These included considering the bunion on my left foot, the running shoes I was using, the way my pelvis had become tilted, my non-dominant side needing strengthening and aligning, etc. After a couple months of doing the indicated exercises to address the above, and getting back into running shoes that agreed better with my body (Hoka max-cushion, rocker shoes were part of the problem, it became clear), I have made more progress in getting back to consistent running than with any other intervention I've tried in recent years. Looking forward to signing up for (and actually completing!) my next race. Thanks Mike, and to the whole Edge team.

Through my years this was my 3rd time utilizing Edge Physical Therapy.I rarely write a review but after my last visit, they've earned it. If you truly want a serious earned back to full duty before your mishap, this is the place to visit. Edge Physical Therapy is family run and is well noted as soon as you enter. Your are always greeted by name by all staff present. You are not a number, you are a valued customer. Your physical therapy is ALWAYS a ONE on ONE. Not one staff working with 2 to 4 other patients as other past facilities I've dealt with. I had the honor of having Lori working with me. Her and each staff member monitor each and everything you do ensuring you get the maximum results in each visit. Having an on going issue for years, finally getting surgery and then the physical therapy. I can't say enough good on how they've assisted me in my FULL recovery. You will not be disappointed. THANKS AGAIN
