        Not familiar with the VA system but 20 year retired AF. Very nice this far. Usual government "red tape" but very caring individuals at Palestine clinic, going above and beyond try to help. Pretty sure I'm going to switch primary care from civilian practice to VA for many reasons, even if it means a little longer wait time! I'm a priority 4, catastrophly disabled, non service connected.

        I am from out of town and needed medical care. I decided to use this facility as I am 100% disabled vet. I did not feel like driving 40 miles to an Urgent Care clinic. From the moment I walked in and filled out a ton of registration paperwork, to the time I saw the nurse, did my labs, and received my medication it took a total of 1hr and 15min. It was FABULOUS service. All the staff I encountered were phenomenal. I would highly recommend this clinic for veteran care.
