I tried for almost 3 weeks to make an appointment. I was told multiple times I'd receive a call back. With no calls returned. Not once. I understand that there is issues within the system. But waiting to receive records for almost 3 weeks is kinda crazy now a days. I wasn't treated like a potential patient, only seemed to me I was a bother. I'm not here to get anyone in trouble. Just to share my experience.

Highly recommend Dr Frey. She is my sons doctor for his seizures. She always takes time to explain our options in a kind caring manner. Also very responsive when I have a questions using patient portal. She makes our less than ideal situation more bearable.

Dr Frey had been my neurologist for about 10 years. Wonderful to me. I felt safe, I trusted her. She got my seizures under control and she was the kindest most caring doctor I've ever known. I had temors for a couple of years now and they've gotten substantially worse I now have them in both arms, head, and legs. I fall or nearly fall multiple times per week. Diagnosed me with essential tremors, told me it was because of my age. I'm 55. She hasn't addressed my tremors like I think she should. My last appointment she was seemed only concerned about my hand and my knee because I had fallen recently down a couple of steps and had injured myself quite bad and memorial health emergency room didn't do a good job of caring for me. She did not address my tremors. I've told her I have a difficult time eating, walking, writing, getting dressed, yet she doesn't address these things. The day after my appointment I fell again. I fell the next day also. 4 days after that I fell. There's nothing I can do because she won't talk to me outside of my appointments and my next appointment was going to be 3 months away. I needed help quickly because I'm scared to get up out of bed! I need someone to help me and care about me and figure out what is going on! So a couple of business days later after much thought, I called her office and asked if I could speak with her and was told no. I asked if there was another neurologist that I might be able to see because I needed someone to help me with my tremors and I didn't feel that Dr Frey wasnt giving me the adequate care as far as my tremors. The lady that answers told me she would talk to Dr Frey first. The lady called me back and told me that Dr Fry had already sent recommendations for me to a new neurologist! She wasn't going to see me anymore and I couldn't believe it! When I asked why I was told because I had too many no shows and cancellations. As far as I can remember I had no cancellations. I did have to reschedule sometimes because my husband works in Lansing and doesn't get home until 5:30 and a lot of times if he's running behind because of something with his work I would have to reschedule my appointments because I cannot drive nor do we have another vehicle if I could drive. I had one no-show. That one I showed up for and I was in the car at the doors ready to be dropped off by my husband, and I had like a panic attack. I have agoraphobia according to Dr Frey and I leave my house maybe once every 2 months and I was just frozen in fear to go in to that office! I just could not do it. I had to leave there and when I got home I called or my husband called, I don't remember but someone called and told the situation and rescheduled for a video appointment. But this situation has never been brought up and if she didn't want me as a patient anymore because she thought that my no-show and my reschedules had been too often why didn't she say something about it instead of just canceling me as a patient? I think it's ironic that it was the very day that I was inquiring about talking to another doctor about my tremors. Then the neurologist that she referred me to,, both of them are so far away from my house that now my husband would have to leave work even earlier to take me there which means our family loses out on more money from his job then we did before. I really thought she cared but it turns out she didn't. I would call and I would talk to her receptionist who was very kind and she would pass on whatever I said to the MA or the scribe I don't know exactly who she was but she was very rude to me, and that person called me a liar and then told me that I had no such paper Dr. Frey gave me about my medications and she refused to call in the medication Dr. Frey prescribed me. She pretty much told me I was lying and so was the doctor. Between the people that I talk to in the beginning and the time it got to Dr Frey it was like playing telephone. I think a lot of the messages got switched around and changed because I can't believe that Dr.said horrible things
