The Legacy Golf Course

We camped at Potholes State Park and wanted to play a round of Golf. Legacy is a nice course with some incredible plans for the future. Lots of construction going on but nothing to interfer with your round. Noel the pro shop manager is awesome. The course is fairly flat but the greens are challenging! We really enjoyed our round.

Played 2 person 18 holes on a Sunday afternoon and felt rushed the entire time. Seems like everyone playing was a solo and they had somewhere to go!! By the end of the round we counted at least 5 groups that just passed us and moved ahead of us. I guess scoring isn’t the objective here. I feel sorry if a 4-some was playing. On the bright side, the driving range is good, the 4th hole is great, and overall this golf course could be fun if not rushed on every hole. In case you are wondering, we finished the round in 3 hours and 23 minutes and that was too slow on this course.

What a beautiful golf course. Probably the best greens I’ve putted on in years. Totally not what we expected when we started, from the street it doesn’t dazzle you, but the course sure did So will be coming back regularly.
