Horrible we always have trouble with the cameras not working than at night the panel in my hallway wakes me up starts beeping saying no internet connection but we do have connection they are not helpful at all we are canceling worst system ever. Do not go with ADT you will have problems too.

A special shout out to Nick M. out of the Boise office. He listened to our needs and concerns and then customized a solution and services to meet them. If that had been all he did I would have been impressed. But before I could install the system, my wife and I were involved in a serious auto accident. **BUYER BEWARE** Nothing more important than reading through the details in the contract. The sales reps omit information and tell half truths (at best) about the terms of the deal. Equipment costs are very high, so they amortize across the contract, If you try to cancel, of course the equipment cost comes due, even if you sell the home with a working security system. But, the kicker is the cost to terminate the contract, which, even after the equipment is paid, is exorbitant. We had our system for two years, still owed $1,200 on equipment... Eeventhough thats high, and our home buyer will use ADT, I pretty much get that we got the equiptment, and could tear it out and trash it if we wanted. However, they then charged an additional $1,500 if we didn't transfer the service to our new home. That $1,500 was for what? Oh yeah, it was because they include a huge cancelation fee... Why, because they embed that in the fine print, and therefore, they can (Friggin' time share wannabes). Yep, no one to blame but ourselves, but you can avoid our mistake, by making sure you are comfortable with the terms. As for us, we didn't expect to have the service for >2 years at $90 per month($2,300), cancel because we are moving, and still owe $2,700. That's all in at $5,000 for two years. From my perspective, you had better plan to keep the service for 10-15 years or so, to hit a break even on the value of the service. Buyer beware, all is not as it is told to you, read the contract details, then do the math. If you are sure you will keep ADT for at least 10-15 years, it may be for you. If you are like us, and aren't sure what we'll have for breakfast tomorrow, making a 10-15 year commitment to a security service isn't/wasn't prudent.

John Nye and ADT were great. They followed up when we had questions and needed assistance reconnecting the updated Wi-Fi. They have been extremely responsive and helpful. I highly recommend them.
