Hi Natalie,I wanted to take the time to respond to your 1-star review of our company, because we never like to see clients have a frustrating experience.I do however think that it’s prudent and fair to point out some of the facts regarding your project, as I fear the review you left is misleading. We were hoping that many of our efforts to go above and beyond on this project would have actually led you to giving us a positive review.We’ve had much communication with you before, during, and after the project, and your husband has been included in some of those discussions as well. As mentioned previously with you, we had to coordinate a “Utility Locate” in your yard before initiating the install work. Doing work before this step would have been illegal for us to do. Once the Utility Locating was completed by the third party, we were on location to begin install within the week.Your project was a 1-day installation, and I was personally there with my top foreman (of 25 years). I outlined the garden bed and marked each plant location exactly as shown on the approved drawing and design plans. You had us leave off the Weeping Red Bud from the original plan because it wasn’t in your budget, but as you’ll recall we planted that at no cost to you.On the day of install you took issue with the Round Boulder Border, because you thought there would be a brick border included in that work, even though it was clearly detailed in the contract what was being done. I know there was some confusion on your end when I showed you a picture of the border from a previous project of ours. Even though it was clearly detailed what we were doing, you mentioned wanting a Brick Border as well, because that was also in the picture we showed you of the Round Boulder Border. I personally went back to our yard, got the bricks, and added those into your project at no extra cost to you.After the plants were planted, you decided that you didn’t like where a few of the trees and plants were planted, although we planted them per plan, we moved those for you at no added charge. We were happy to service your change requests at no charge to you, as these types of adjustments are a small price for us to pay in order for you to be happy in your outdoor space.We discussed with you the need to water your new plants for the first 2 weeks, but you called us the day after installation saying everything was dead. We came back out to your home and replanted 2 rose bushes as everything was guaranteed under warranty. We discussed again the need to water plants for 2 weeks after being transplanted into your yard, and would like to remind you that our plants are guaranteed. Please let us know what plants are dying, and we can get those replaced for you as well.We never enjoy negating what a client is saying about us, but in this case we do want to point out that:-- Everything was installed and delivered exactly as to how the plan was drawn up and approved by you.-- We added in the $900 Weeping Red Bud and Brick Border at no charge to you.-- Moved and traded out plants based on your feedback to us post-installation at no charge.-- Replaced a couple plants the day after you called about them dying.-- Moved expeditiously to get the project done on time after utilities were located and plant materials arrived.-- Communicated that all plants are under warranty and can be replaced, if dying.
