The equipment is absolutely worthless if you live in Oklahoma. The alarm system interprets a gust of wind hitting a window or a door as someone trying to break in, and once again, I am up at 3 am, typing the code into the alarm 7 or 8 consecutive times before it finally reads it, and then dealing with ADT customer service. Paid $750 to get out of my contract early today just so I can sleep through the night without their horrible equipment going off.

If I could give 0 stars, that would be more accurate. They have continued to try to bill my parents for two months after they cut off service at the end of July. We finally had to institute a stop payment with their bank. WORST customer experience ever. They say they're responsible for paying out the rest of the contract but there's no contract. SimpliSafe is FAR SUPERIOR. What a racket.

Make sure you dont sign the contract without reading. Theyll charge you separate for maintenance and automatically renew your contract every year without your knowledge.
