Chris at Melrose Metal Finishing in Oakland restored my faith in customer service. Quick with returning phone calls and emails, hes always warm professional, and courteous. Our outdoor furniture was completed ahead of estimate (hint to other businesses always overstate to look like a hero later). Officially, they do not pick up and deliver, but Chris arranged for it to be done by an employee at a reasonable rate. We never visited the shop. We chose Melrose because of glowing reviews and Chris prompt detailed bid from the pictures sent. Color samples were presented at pick up to reconfirm the choice. The end product was returned, wrapped in moving blankets. Bottom line: we are DELIGHTED.

Ive been going to Melrose for 5+ years. They have done all my Harleys parts, truck wheels, and even some custom furniture Ive built. Prices are stop on for what you get. Sure you can get it cheaper but I guarantee your not getting the same quality! Ask my buddys they are now melrose customers for life. Very clean and professional business. Their showroom has about every color sample you could think of. Highly recommended.

I wanted an old outdoor dining set and stand powder coated for durability in a difficult color, Golden Gate Orange. Chris did a magnificent job! And they welded some weak spots and drilled rubber feet for the whole set to protect my deck! Pick up and delivery were prompt and very reasonable as well. I love this place!
