Chappie Building Construction did a remodel and restoration of my Victorian Home. He took time to take modes of all the little designs in the crown molding. Everything looking beautiful. He also finished the job 3 weeks before excepted.I will be working with him on Building my new ADU. 5   all the way

Chapple's Construction was a primary contractor for the Alameda Healthy Homes Rehabilitation program where three or more contractors would bid on renovation jobs funded under the low interest housing rehabilitation loan program.  He was the successful bidder on many involved projects: foundation upgrades, seismic retrofits, kitchen/bathroom remodels, roofs, French drains, decks, balconies and more. Apart from this program, he has built multiple homes in the Bay Area. Michael is very knowledgeable on varying code requirements of the different cities/counties' building  department's guidelines. He successfully completed multiple projects while I worked there and became the successful bidder many times even when his bid was not the lowest. As the Rehab Specialist managing these projects, the general feedback I received from clients as to why the chose his firm was that his knowledge and mastery of the intricacies of different projects had instilled confidence and distinguished him from the other contractors during the bid walk.

The things you discover years after a contractor leaves the job, who does not adhere to contractor standards of practice. Michael Lewis ("aka" Chappie) installed two storage doors. One under the steps, the other on the side of the house for the furnace. I had to replace them$$$$ Why? He used indoor doors for outside use! What would you do?
