Osterman Propane

These guys were great for years (we used them for 10) but went under new ownership last year. Now under new ownership, their business model is to know charge you a $80 fee per tank if you don't put at least 125 gallons in it every year. I filled up my tanks year end as usual but now also got a new bill for 160 as I was below the minimal usage. My next question was how do i get your tanks off my property. What a rip off. You would be crazy to go with these guys now. I guess the new business model is to fleece your loyal customers until you have no customers anymore and need to file bankruptcy. Good luck and good riddance! Plenty of reasonable propane suppliers in the area.

Biggest scam artists... They will charge their customers $100 if their customers don't use a minimum amount of propane within a yr. That is disgusting to charge people $100 for not having to get an annual delivery, especially now a days!!!

We've had Osterman Propane for years but only use propane for our stove. We don't have to order propane on a regular basis and they charge a yearly fee if you don't order enough by October 1st. They don't send a reminder, hoping that you will miss that date and will have to pay their fees. Their fees have also increased significantly over the last few years. The representative I spoke to was very unhelpful on the phone. They will charge a $140 tank removal fee if we cancel with them on top of the $90 charge for NOT ordering propane. Definitely would not recommend this company.

I don't know what happened to this company, I used to be able to call and order a delivery without a problem. Now I get shuffled around and told I have to wait until the reading is zero! I tried to used their website to order, it wouldn't accept my request, that's ridiculous, what good is an empty tank. I've been a customer since 1999, but not for much longer. I've left messages asking for a call back, nothing. What a way to keep repeat customers.

This the worst gas company They have the worst customer service ever She thinks put me on hold but I hear her speak with her colleague and swearing me And talking about my language she was very racist Never work with them
