My mother has been here for a week. The care is not good. My father has had to complain multiple times. Shes a super fussy eat and they dont accommodate for a nutritious meal. One night she didnt even get a protein source with her dinner. No butter with a baked potato etc. Therapy isnt great. She went there after having a stroke to gain strength and they barely have her doing exercises or walking. I told them yesterday that she should be helped at least once an hour, even for a 5 minute walk to help gain her strength back.

So impressed with the memory care unit at Beaumont in Northborough! My mom is a resident there now, and from the very first impressions of the facility and staff to the first hand witnessing of care that I have seen given to my mom, I am so happy that we were able to secure a place for her at this facility. Rose Kelly-Pond is wonderful. Friendly and professional, Rose takes care of the admissions, and she was very informative and helpful to us in making this a very straightforward process to get my mom admitted. She did a thorough job in giving us all of the information about the facility as well as giving us a tour of the memory care unit so that we could see the environment prior to mom moving in. The second floor nurse manager, Kim Dempsey-Holmes, is very hands on and knows exactly what is going on with all of the residents in her care. She is available to address any questions or concerns and does a great job of keeping us informed of any issues concerning our mom.Taurus, who is one of the nurses in the unit is very approachable and listens to and follows up on any concerns brought to him. Ashlye Warner is the Director of Social Services and she too is very nice and always available to provide answers to any questions. The physical therapy department has also done a great job. My mom has been recovering from a broken hip and I have observed them on multiple occasions working with her. They are professional and kind in their approach. There are so many other staff members that I have also seen interacting with the residents, who I don't know by name, but they are so good with the residents and they keep them engaged in various activities. The residents are up and dressed each day, not isolated in their rooms laying in bed. It is obvious to me that the approach to the care and attention given to the residents is given professionally, thoughtfully and with genuine concern for the residents there.
