No no no.... never go here unless you do not care about the health of your animal. The veterinarian might be a good person but the place is a dive and is not kept clean.. this is probably the most unsanitary Veterinary Hospital in all of Las Vegas. I have nothing against the staff but cleanliness is imperative for the health of sick animals. Anyone whom gives this place a 5 star rating is oblivious to what an animal hospital should look and smell like. Walk in the front door and you're hit with the smell of a place no animal should be taken. It's unsafe and should be closed.

I can't say enough positive things about Dr. Goldman and his staff. In 2011 I got a 4 year old lab (Jasper) from the lied animal shelter he is an amazing dog but just after a few weeks my wife and I noticed something wasn't quite right with him. He would have these episodes where out of nowhere he would look scared, shake, lose his balance fall and drool, his coordination would be lost momentarily as well. These "episodes" would last 2-4 minutes then he'd be back to normal. I felt he was having a sort of seizure so I took him to the local vet and described what was going on. They told me he was likely to have "arthritis" or "got stiff" from sitting to long. I really didn't think that was the case so I found Civic Center Pet Clinic and Dr. Goldman. Dr. Goldman confirmed in fact Jasper was having seizures and came up with a treatment plan of going with Valium on the onset rather than going to phenobarbital as the first option. He wanted to try this first. Long story short this treatment plan was perfect for Jasper. Jasper's went from having 2-3 seizures a week in 2011 to about 1 a month in 2012 to only a few a year in 2013 and I'm happy to say currently his hasn't had one in about 13 months. In 2013 we got a second lab Maddie she needed a tumor removed from her chest last year (by the way Jasper also had 2 removed in the last 4 years they are common in labs) anyway I'm happy to say every surgery went 100 percent well. When I moved from a small town to Las Vegas once of my fears was that you lose that personal touch and began to be treated like a number. I can assure you that is never the case with Dr. Goldman and his staff. They genuinely care its easy to see. Pricing is more than fair but even more importantly they don't push unnecessary services. They communicate great so you know exactly what going on with your animals. I love my pets and wouldn't trust them with just anyone. Dr. Goldman and his staff are total pros in every way. Civic Center Pet Clinic is truly the best.

I'm not quite sure where all these 5 star reviews are coming from, I walked in to see about euthanasia for my 18 year old cat ( based on all the good reviews from Google+)and was immediately met with an overwhelming odor of feces and urine. This was not a fresh smell, as it was smelling like it had been there for a while. I kept looking for carpet as I was imagining an old urine and feces soaked carpet. I saw none and wondered why this place smelled so badly. No one else(3others) in the waiting room seemed to mind the disorganized desk piled over with stacks of loose paper , or the dark environment , let alone the overwhelming smell of animal waste. Not the place I would like to take my cat, even for her last memories. It was a full minute before I was even acknowledged by the lady behind the desk. In a state of shock I asked about prices anyways, and after she told me the price schedule, I turned around and walked out in a state of shock and disgust. If you don't care about your animal and are simply looking for the lowest price possible, maybe this is the hospital for you. Again, every review in this listing is a 5-star review, not sure how that happens when your hospital smells like a bucket of feces blended with a bucket of stale urine. Possibly somebody has their friends and employees writing reviews , because in my opinion, I don't see how a 5-star rating is possible for a crap hole like this. I smell a rat. And if I had a pet rat, I wouldn't take it there either.
