My Grandfather was there for 2 1/2 months. The place was cold and dirty. The staff let us know that they were told to say they had a ratio of 7 to 1 even though it was more like 13 to 1 and if they didn't lie they would be fired. The director was very rude to my girlfriend even though she was the only one who shaved him and cut his nails. When he came home they had lost all of his sweat pants that were clearly labeled and to this date have still not replaced them. The worst is that they sent him home 4 to 5 days constipated with no mention of it. He was in a lot of pain because of this and they were just increasing his pain meds to "fix him". When confronted about his constipation they said they had documentation of a bowl movement which was a lie because a gallon and a half of escrament came out when we at home diagnoaed and treated the problem. The physical therapists were great and some of the workers as well but over all I would not recommend this facility to anyone who cares about their loved ones. We also found him many times with sitting with like in his lap that had dried. He was also left for hours with his legs slipped off the wheel chair foot holders which left a bad sore on the back of his let. Then they taped on a bandage. The tape ripped his skin. I'm so angry at this place in shaking. Thank God we got him home and since then has improved on all levels. I'm sure whoever left a five star rating works there because there is no way in hell it could be considered a nice place by anyone. There needs to be random checks on these kind of places. Smh...
