I have never felt more passed around and like I am a number than the experience I have had in Newberg.

They changed my appointment and wouldn't see me after I bleed through my pants. Specifically Dr. BENNETT REFUDED TO SEE ME EVEN THOUGH SHE WAS TOLD I TOOK THE BUS WITH MY BABY AND COULDN'T SIT DOWN DUE TO BLEEDING THROUGH MY PANTS. My appointment was at 10 am which gave me enough time to get there on the bus. They changed my appointment time the day before to 930. I'm visually impacted so I could not drive and I had my baby so I could not take a lyft. I realized as I got on the elevator to go to the appointment that blood was running down my leg. I stopped to mop up what I could and ram to the desk. She said they could not see me. I asked if there was any way and explained. DR BENNETT WAS ASKED AND DENIED TO SEE ME EVEN WITH THE INFO GIVEN. I know have to stand due to the blood with my baby and wait 1hr and 30 minutes for the next bus. No compassion even though I was on time for my original appointment time.

I delivered my daughter her 14 years ago when Dr. Cinthia Caraballo was working here. I had an amazing experience. I was a first time mom and was given all of the information that I needed to have a healthy baby. My OB care was great and so was the delivery. I am forever grateful for the staff that cared for me and my baby. Thank You!

I would love to give a negative point review. This place is terrible! They have the audacity to deny me medical services for my wellness appointment because I mentioned I am taking a mental health medication. They know nothing about me, didn't even ask what I may have been prescribed and refused to schedule an appointment with me and I have A+ insurance and medical records. They are a disrespectful, discriminatory and disgrace to medical professionals. DO NOT GO TO THIS CLINIC!!!

I would give negative stars if I could. This is a long review but overall I would not recommend them if youre pregnant, its seems like they try to get through patients as fast as possible. I went to Women's Healthcare Associates for my pregnancy and gave birth in the Newberg hospital. I was pregnant during 2021 so half of my appointments were virtual. Everything was routine until my appointment at 31 weeks where I was diagnosed with hypertension, I think it took longer for it to be diagnosed since I wasnt in the office consistently and even after that they still had me do virtual appointments. At 33 or 34 weeks they recommend that I be induced at 37 weeks. I had an ultrasound scheduled to make sure everything was okay before the birth but due to the weather it was canceled the day of. When I tried to reschedule, they couldnt get me into any location before my induction date. I ended up going to L&D at 36 weeks because my blood pressure kept creeping up and they did a nonstress test and said that would just be in leu of an ultrasound and everything was normal. I went in on my induction date and 8 hours later my contractions were not showing on the monitor but were back-to-back. Babys heart rate kept dipping and not recovering like they would have liked. They placed an internal heart rate monitor on baby and another tool to track my contractions. As I was getting my epidural one of the OBs came in and recommended a C-section so we switched to that route. The c-section was routine (but also a terrifying experience). Baby was born and was 4lbs 2oz and my placenta was half the size it should have been with several kinks in the cord. When the OB came back in the room she stated that it was good that we went the route because shes not sure how the baby would have done if we didnt. We felt like if that was the case, they shouldnt have made the C-section should like it was optional. Since he was so small, he was given glucose to try to increase his levels and help him regulate his body temperature. Newberg Hospital can only give so many before they must transfer the baby to the NICU. Unfortunately, after a day and a half he had to be transferred to St. Vs and I was not able to be transferred also so we were separated for 2 days. My blood pressure was still considered hypertensive when I left the hospital and I was not given medication to manage it, only told to increase my pain medicine to see if that would bring it down. The following week (the day our baby was discharged to come home) I ended up in the ER with a blood pressure of 160/110. My husband and my dad were the ones to bring my baby home and when I was discharged from the ER I was finally given medication for my blood pressure. At my 8 week follow up when I said my birth was traumatic, I was ignored. Then this year I went to a different location I brought it up again and was told my birth just didnt go as planned, which is fair, but I think being separated from your newborn is still traumatic and shouldnt be downplayed. I was never diagnosed with PPA or PPD and believe I should have been. I will never go to this clinic again.

Sarah, we are very sorry we could not accommodate your visit and we understand your frustration in light of the circumstances you described. We do our best to accommodate patients who arrive late, but we have to consider how that impacts other patients in each situation. One of our team members will be following up with you with more information. Again, our sincere apologies.
